On the other hand, there are potential risks associated to patients regarding the distribution of poor-quality information, damage to professional image, breaches of patient privacy, violation of personal–professional boundaries, and licensing. But we can’t deny the fact that social media has also proven to be a valuable tool in healthcare in instances like sharing resources between research organizations, taking a pulse on consumers’ experiences. Social media is enabling us to grow for better at the comfort of our homes. Considering my case, being a woman!
